Sira was established in the 1960s. it was one of the most important plants in sieradz. it was manufacturing textiles, which it exported all over the world. it is now part of the mirwal company, where it continues its activity in the field of manufacturing and processing of knitted and woven fabrics. by systematically modernizing the machine park and technologies, it continues to develop its business. currently, we perform high-quality dyeing, printing and finishing of knitted and woven fabrics manufactured by us 100% in poland or entrusted by our service clients.

We have a modern, well-equipped laboratory with the possibility of easy and fast colour processing, thanks to electronic and paper catalogues. we process colours to the pantone tpx, tc, u, c pattern or according to the client’s sample.
We conduct technological tests of knitwear such as friction, ball puncturing, light resistance, shrinkage, we check the basic weight and many other elements to ensure the best possible quality for our clients.

From the moment of obtaining full information about the requirements for the ordered colours and from the moment we have the assortment (bleached knitwear from the client), we can produce about 20 colours per week. we provide dyeing and finishing services for polish and foreign companies and for tenders (e.g. army, police, fire brigade).

We dye and finish knitwear as a service according to customer instructions. terms of cooperation, batch sizes and production deadlines are set case by case. please contact farbiarnia@mirwal.pl
Individual colours
Our laboratory develops individual colours on the basis of provided colour samples or according to the textile pantone specification. the client can choose between 2 and 3 colour samples, from which they will choose the best tone. the manufacturing batch may have a slight colour deviation in relation to the selected sample depending on the batch size, etc. when using additional refining such as enzyme, the final colour will always be slightly lighter than the selected sample.
Possible refining of knitwear
Depending on the needs, we can use various types of refining from additional softening, enzymes through specialist antibacterial finishing (e.g. silver ions), aloe vera or hydrophobic apertures.
